Media plays an important role in influencing the political climate, policy and program decisions and public opinion. Media can be an important ally in bringing important issues such as urban health to the attention of key stakeholders such as policy makers, planners, programmers, donor agencies and academicians.

UHRC has been working with the media to highlight the concerns of the urban poor and thereby influence the policy and program decisions. The media is regularly updated on urban health issues, researches and events to ensure that the urban health remains in the media.
