The Special Youth Programme (SYP) of UNAIDS seeks to recruit young people aged 20-24 years, from developing countries with some programme experience in HIV-related issues for a nine-month remunerated fellowship. The SYP consists of a five-month fellowship at UNAIDS Geneva followed by a four-month fellowship at the UNAIDS country office in the fellow’s country of origin. The objective of the Programme is to help engage young people from developing countries in policy development and programming as well as build their capacity and leadership skills to contribute to the AIDS response.
